Is Pineapple Acceptable On A Pizza As A Topping?

Pizzzzaaahhhhhh! It is one such emotion that no one could get over from. And most of you would be loving simply cheesepizza i.e. nothing should come between cheese and pizza, not even veggies. But still, it tastes awesome with the veggies, sauces, olives, jalapenos, mushrooms, and of course cheese! But now the question is about the topping of pineapple on pizza? Yes, you heard it right! Pineapple Pizza! As the debate about accepting the pineapple topping is still ongoing.

In India, many chefs accept pineapple as a topping. And don’t you think those juicy pineapple chunks drizzled with sauces, tasting sweet and savory at the same time sounds perfect? Just imagine.. So, I think pineapple should be acceptable as a topping. And Amdavadis, if you all can have the famous pineapple cheese sandwich at Manek Chowk, then there’s no point in denying pineapple as a pizza topping. As pineapple and cheese go hand in hand, in a sandwich then, its undoubtedly fine to use pineapple as a topping!

Anyways, pizza is pizza! Whatever topping it may have, it would taste cheesy as always. So let’s forget about the debate and enjoy having pizza as usual 🙂
